Developed as an outcome of the inaugural TMS Materials/Manufacturing Leaders Summit in March 2012, the Orlando Materials Innovation Principles offers guidance on pursuing collaborative efforts across manufacturing disciplines and sectors with the intent of accelerating the materials innovation process. Leaders from major corporations, academic centers, and government laboratories signed the Principles to make known their intent to support these concepts in time for TMS to publicly release the document at a May 2012 U.S. White House event. Additional signatories are welcomed.
