A key element of Materials Innovation @ TMS is projects that convene the best knowledge and expertise to formulate strategies, forge linkages, develop
resources, and generate new thinking. These efforts are accomplished in partnership with other professional societies, government agencies, academic and
research organizations, and industrial leaders. Check back regularly for updates on these projects, as well as to access documents, information, and other
resources that may result from them.
Developed as an outcome of the 2012 TMS Materials/Manufacturing Leaders Summit, the Orlando Materials Innovation Principles call upon the diversity of disciplines and sectors vital to the manufacturing economy to work synergistically on developing a more dynamic approach to materials innovation.
Organizations representing the spectrum of science and engineering have joined forces to launch an online community dedicated to sharing news and information related to the Materials Genome Initiative (MGI). TMS administers the Forum on behalf of the participants.
